The candidates should submit the application form along with the following documents.

• Attested Copy of proof of Date of Birth.
  
  
• Attested Copy of School leaving certificate.
  
  
• Attested copy of final examination mark sheet.
  
  
• 4 recent passport size colored photographs wearing white shirt and colored tie.
  
  
• Copy of passport (attested). If passport is not available, arrangements should be made to obtain the same prior completion of training.
  
  
• Demand Draft of Rs.2000/- in favor of “AQUATECH INSTITUTE OF MARITIME STUDIES, NEW DELHI” for Registration.
  

• After collection and scrutinizing the application, the AIMS selection Board will prepare a list of short listed candidates. It will be placed on notice board of the institute/ will be informed to selected candidates.
  
  
• The Candidates will have to undergo written test and viva voce or both, they will be tested on the basis of their attitude and aptitude towards seafarers profession, ability to communicate in English, general comprehension and seafaring background, if any.
  
  
• AQUATECH reserved the right to select or reject any candidate. The selection committee is no bound to call an applicant for interview or to assign any reason for rejection to any candidate.
  
  
• The candidates who qualify in the final test will be subjected to a physical fitness/medical/eyesight examination as per MS rules 2000.
  
  
• The list of doctors will be provided on the notice board .
  
  
• As Soon as the medical examination is over the selected candidates must be able to take admission by paying the course fees. If failed to do so, the seat will be offered to candidates on the waiting list.
